Deborah represents both employees and employers in workplace matters such as wrongful dismissals, human rights discrimination and harassment claims, and reviewing and preparing employment contracts.

She has appeared before the Small Claims court and participated in mediations, summary judgements hearings, and examinations for discovery.

Prior to joining Swann Law, Deborah articled at a boutique employment, commercial and estate litigation firm in Toronto.

Deborah obtained her J.D. from the City University of Hong Kong. While in law school, she remained active in the law community. She was a volunteer at Justice Without Borders, providing legal assistance to victims of labour exploitation.  

Deborah is fluent in English and Cantonese.
