Simon Pelsmakher is an employment and labour lawyer, with experience working on behalf of employees and employers across Canada on wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, human rights, and other workplace disputes.

Simon has appeared at numerous levels of court, such as the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court, the Ministry of Labour and Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canadian Industrial Relations Board, the Financial Services Tribunal, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and in other courts and tribunals across Canada.

Simon also has substantial commercial experience, working with businesses on restructuring, internal policies and contracts, advising on employment standards compliance, and as inhouse counsel supporting HR teams in resolving disputes and protect brand, reputation, and other business considerations. Recently, Simon was the Director, Senior Legal Counsel, for a major multinational corporation, in the retail and e-commerce space.

When not working, Simon enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and exploring the outdoors. Simon is conversationally proficient in Russian.
