Toronto Star: Monk Kitchen chef alleges he’s owed more than $100k in lawsuit

Acclaimed chef Roberto Fracchioni made a name for himself cooking up elaborate eight-course tasting menus — and serving them, personally, to his guests with the bravado of a Broadway actor, until the Templar Hotel who employed him declared bankruptcy in May 2015 with more than $40 M in liabilities including monies owed to Fracchioni. Fracchioni’s lawyer, Tatha Swann, told the Star that his lawsuit against the hotel will be vigorously pursued.
