CBC News: Tatha Swann, lawyer for Kate Burnham, comments on investigation into Weslodge restaurant allegations

Toronto pastry chef says she experienced sexual harassment at restaurant, including being called a “c–t,” having images of male genitalia drawn on her work station and being groped in a walk-in fridge. Kate Burnham, represented by Tatha Swann, made the allegations in an Ontario Human Rights Tribunal complaint filed against three former male managers at Weslodge restaurant.

Toronto Star: Former pastry chef alleges sexual harassment at top Toronto restaurant

Kate Burnham, a former pastry chef at Weslodge restaurant, was routinely sexually harassed and abused according to the application she has filed in Ontario’s Human Rights Tribunal. Burnham, 24, sought $225,000 in damages and formal apologies from each of her alleged harassers. She also asked the Tribunal to order Weslodge staff and each of the 3 former chefs to take training in how to spot and stop sexual harassment. Burnham was represented in her case by lawyer Tatha Swann.
